My love for coffee

My love for coffee

My love for coffee started during my years in the Army. Initially, it started with drinking coffee as a means of staying warm on a cold day while out in the field. Overtime that developed into needing a cup to boost energy after a night of hanging out. In my younger years, I didn't understand coffee or how to really enjoy it because I loaded it up with cream and sugar. I remember a leader telling me that I couldn't even taste the coffee due to how much stuff I added to it. As I matured, I began to develop an appreciation for the process of how coffee gets from the field to the cup. During my development, I discovered different ways to make coffee such as pour over, french pressed, and espresso. Once you stop viewing coffee as a tool that only serves to keep you awake instead of an enjoyable beverage experience, your taste and love for coffee will vastly improve. The good news is that it's an entire world of coffee out there for you to enjoy! Reginald Carnegie
